Marketing Your Book

So, you have written a book.  Your excited, happy and ready to sell it on the open market.  But you have forgotten one thing – MARKETING.  Yes, that ugly word.  It’s the word that creeps up on you and makes you fill like a failure.  Marketing begins while you are writing your book, not after it has been finished.  You need to put together a plan for marketing.

  1. Who is your audience?
  2. How will you get your book to your audience?
  3. How will you sell your book – online, book stores, etc.

These are the questions that you must answer and plan for to be successful.  If you don’t, you will have a book that no one will read, no one will know about and no one will  buy.  In other words a wonderful paper weight.
